What made you want to get involved with Newtown Festival Week? To get the community excited about the festival and let them know that we are taking part this year. Our Bloodwood festival cocktail deal gives us a chance to start a conversation about the festival.
What is it about Newtown that makes it a great place to hold events or have a business there? Newtown is a vibrant and fast-paced town. For a business, your customers are loyal and love the area as much as the business owners do.
How would you describe Newtown to someone who hasn't been there before? Newtown is diverse and full of life. It marches to the beat of its own drum and is full of very creative people who care very much about Newtown.
What ways do you think Newtown could be improved? No WestConnex! Ensure that the late night lock out laws don't bring violence and an "unNewtown" crowd to the area.
