Presumably you’ve been to the Newtown Festival before, what’s your best memory? A few years ago a friend who lived in Australia St held a BBQ/party on festival day.

What’s first and why – bands or stalls or bars? Never start with bars! Stalls are a good way to ease into it.

Favourite spot at the festival to chill and watch the world go by? Australia St, Federation Rd corner squeezed under the shade of the trees.

What would be your entry into the dog show? A Christopher Pyne poodle in the celebrity look alike.

Aside from the festival, what are your favourite Newtown locations? Fiji Market, Midnight Special and Suzy Spoons Vegetarian Butcher.

Why do you think your band is a good fit for the Newtown Festival? Half of our songs are about Mexican revolutionaries with horns to back it up.

You’re off stage and post-set, where’s your next stop at the festival? I want to check out Fat Yahooza on the Vocal Local Village stage.
