It's the moment you've all been waiting for... After a 'way-too-long' hiatus, your favorite Sydney party people are back. PURPLE SNEAKERS launches it's new night 'DISCOVERY' this Friday at Brighton Up Bar
As you already know, the name PURPLE SNEAKERS is synonymous with Sydney partying. With previous nights at The Gaelic Theatre, The Abercrombie and just about everywhere else; this week's opening night at BRIGHTON UP will be everything you love about PURPLE SNEAKERS and MORE!
Running every Friday, the night will be an eclectic mix of music and fun. Every week will feature a handful of new and exciting local buzz bands to headline the night, with supports coming from a rotating list of residents plus a few local superstars thrown in for good measure. This new format will no doubt have punters foaming at the mouth for their weekly fix of 'Discovery'.
We're also super excited to reveal our November/December lineups including live acts like; TOKYO DENMARK SWEDEN, CARL FOX, PIDGEON, PEAR SHAPE & DRIFFS + killer DJs from all around the country including; INDIAN SUMMER, EGO (NICE & EGO), AIRWOLF and KRAYMER
Did we mention the venue? Smack bang in the center of Oxford Street, BRIGHTON UP BAR is sure to provide an awesome setting for the festivities. With a capacity of 120, punters will be right in the middle of the action EVERY WEEK, standing shoulder to shoulder with indie music royalty (and a crowd of freeeekin' legends!).
We never do things in halves here. So don't think for a moment we we're gunna go easy on you in week 1. In true PURPLE SNEAKERS form, this Friday's event will be nothing short of INSANE! Headlining will be local slackers STEP PANTHER, bringing their surf-garage tunes to the BRIGHTON UP main stage. Alongside them will be BAD DREEMS and BORED NOTHING.
Spinning up the nasties on the dance-floor every week will be SPENDA C, RANDALL STAGG, LANCELOT, EMOH INSTEAD and LANCELOT.
