New Music: Thelma Plum - Young In Love (ShockOne Remix)

An unlikely pairing with not-suprisingly large results.. WA drum'n'bass lord ShockOne has thrown his hat into the post-Flume electronica ring on a remix you might not have expected, but one that definitely works. It's also a tune where you'll realise that Brisbane songstress Thelma Plum has the perfect voice for bangers. Plum has been traversing the country celebrating her new EP Monster - a tour that wraps up this weekend at the SoundLounge on the Gold Coast tonight, and The Zoo in Brisbane Saturday 29 November - check the video for Young In Love HERE. ShockOne meanwhile has been somewhat quiet on the production front, and while this remix is something of a departure for one of Australia's biggest bass music exports, it's no surprise that a dude with his production chops can play in different genre sandboxes and handle it with aplomb.
