Dubbed the Multicultural Comedy Night, the event boasts a stellar lineup of some of the nation's top comedians who will regale the audience with tales from around the globe.
Hosted by Georgie Carroll, the 10-act event is set to be a hilarious exploration of cultural identity that highlights both our differences and shared experiences.
Georgie Carroll, an award-winning comedian, author, registered nurse, and family woman originally from the UK and now calling Australia home, will guide the audience through an evening of laughter. With seven solo shows and a recorded special, The Gloves are Off, with Network Ten, Carroll has become a national sell-out act. She's a familiar face on Australian television, having appeared on shows like HYBPA?, Hughesy, We Have A Problem, Oxfam MICF Gala, and The Project.
Carroll's accolades include the Best Comedy award at the Adelaide Fringe in 2022 and a nomination for the 2023 Russell Prize for Humour Writing for her nursing-focused book, Off The Charts. Currently touring internationally in 2024 with her stand-up show, Sista Flo 2.0, Georgie Carroll is a force to be reckoned with in the comedy world.
