As she reads from her forthcoming book of essays Oz, Missy Higgins reveals how by living out her fantasy to be a uni student (wild parties, share houses and bike rides... kinda) she connected with The Warumpi Band's iconic anthem Blackfella/Whitefella.

Higgins' Oz book and accompanying album are out now. The album, also titled Oz, is a collection of reinterpretations of Australian songs close to her heart. Higgins covers, and writes about, artists such as The Go-Betweens and The Drones. She is currently touring Australia.
