What was the best piece of advice you were given when you first started learning guitar? Never quit, and work on being the best at what you do. Don't worry so much about what others are doing, it's not a competition.

What's your fave guitar/amp/pedal set up? Mesa Boogie Mark V, Ernie Ball Music Man custom Reflex model, Xotic BB Preamp overdrive pedal.

If you could jam with one person, who would it be and why? John Petrucci. He's influenced me so much and I'd love to pick his brain on a whole lot of things.

If money wasn't an issue, what guitar would you buy and why? JPX Music Man custom. That's the one guitar I really wanna have built by Music Man. The JPX model is my favourite in the Petrucci line — with some added custom options.
