Your favourite animal byproduct will be taking over Prahran Market on 24 Oct when the Cheese Festival rolls back into town, like a wheel of dairy heaven. All things cheesy will on display and of course available to taste as the market is inundated with cooking demonstrations, pop-up eateries and even a cheese wheeling race! Nourish your mind, body and soul with mac 'n' cheese, margherita pizzas and fondue. Learn from industry professionals such as ex-Masterchef contestant Alice In Frames and world class cheesemonger Anthony Femia.
The event is supported heavily by various cheese purveyors and on-site providores Calendar Cheese, King Island Dairy and Red Cow Cheese, alongside Chapel St Cellars Bar giving attendees the opportunity to pair their favourite cheese with a glass of wine.
The Cheese Festival strives to give people an experience in which they can experiment with new flavours, smells and colours; the variety of choices is sure to open eyes (well, more to the point, mouths) to previously undiscovered dairy delights.
