Briefly describe your show? George Glass make their Melbourne Fringe debut with this rock comedy. Edward and Henry Frissel are two brothers that own a failing funeral home, Frissel Funerals. Facing deadlines from the bank they stumble across the opportunity of a lifetime (pardon the pun): a client who is willing to pay anything to give her husband the perfect funeral. (Her husband isn’t dead yet.)

In a fantasy world who would you be the love child of? Rolf Harris.

What was the inspiration behind your show? After witnessing death first hand, George Glass ventured forth into the depths of the unknown – an introspective journey aiming to explain the mysteries behind death. What drives death? What keeps death motivated? How can we really relate to death in an understandable and positive light? Ideas for the show arose after countless discussions on the topic  and listening to a bunch of Pixies albums and old X-Files VHSs.

What was the biggest challenge you encountered in this show? Bringing to the stage some outlandish ideas with minimal budget.

What makes your show different? Scheming brothers, a vague doctor, a mentally unfit mortician, addictions to eulogies and a widowed wife.
