How did you get into the barbecue business? Bully BBQ was formed by Ricki and Becky, the name coming from our dog and mascot who is a bull terrier. I have been obsessed with BBQ'ing for years and I thought if i made a competition team it would allow me to get more BBQ purchases past the missus.

What's your signature dish? I would probably say it's our Kansas City style burnt ends. We also have a pork tenderloin that will dack your pants and smack you on the bum as well.

Can you let us in on what you're bringing to the BBQ Wars? I like to connect with my meat at an emotional level so we will be bringing ribs that I have taken on long walks on the beach and some briskets that I have held hands and talked about emotions with.

Which bands/artists are you keen to catch at Meatstock? Probably the Adam Eckersley Band; they have a good mix of country and rock, which I like.

If you could feed any band/artist playing at Meatstock who would it be and what would you serve them? I would probably feed The Beards a smoked beef tongue, just so they can prove their manliness. If they wouldn't eat it I would demand that they remove their beards.

What else are you looking forward to at Meatstock? Everything, really; it's going to be a great mix of food, drinks, music and general butchering and BBQ info so can't wait to get involved.
