MATT CORBY has announced he’ll be gracing our stages again in June for The Winter Tour *cue girly squeals*. Now the darling of Triple J after coming in at the number 3 spot with ‘Brother’ in this year’s Triple J Hottest 100, Corby has come a long way from clean-cut beard-less days.
The past year has seen Corby’s infallible voice win the hearts of indie and mainstream listeners alike through the EP Into the Flame. Now with his debut album set for release later this year, he’s not showing any signs of slowing down.
Swooning aside, Corby is referred to as the Jeff Buckley of our generation for a reason. This one is not to be missed, though I’m predicting a few broken hearts on Friday morning as tickets run out the door. I plan to not be one of them. Game on, ladies. Tour dates below.
