Mario Mclean is a singer you don’t yet know, but might just fall in love with

Mario Mclean came to my attention last week when I heard his cover of NGAIRE’S Once, which if I do say so myself is quite a beautiful take on an already beautifully written song:

That was until one of my friends told me to listen to We Belong, claiming it was the best song he had heard in a long time. At the time of writing this it currently has 18 plays on Soundcloud, which is both sad and astonishing (so many points I could bring up about music distribution and the troubles great artists have getting music out there). So this is a proud moment for me (and props to my buddy Reuben), discovering a truly talented person and sharing it with you. Please enjoy the subtle beat that relaxes its way throughout the song. And enjoy the beautiful vocals, comparable to John Legend. Fuck I love music.
