Manchester Orchestra Australian Hi-Fi Tour

MANCHESTER ORCHESTRA are returning to Australian in March 2012 for a headline tour on the back of their Playground Weekender Festival show.  It looks as though the band will be the first to christen Sydney's new Hi-Fi venue playing the Hi-Fi Shoreline Series which also stops off in Brisbane and Melbourne.

MANCHESTER ORCHESTRA'S tour back in 2009 showed us that the combination of Andy Hull's soulful howl, raw driving guitars and the power of two percussionist brought their highly acclaimed albums Mean Everything To Nothing and Like A Virgin Losing A Child to life.

Now they return armed with not just a new album Simple Math, but a new style.  Their 2011 release still maintains Hull's honesty and vulnerability but the production is sleeker this time round and the tracks more calculated and cleaner.  Interested to see how this plays out live.
