The ‘Groovin the Moo Festival’ recently took its traveling circus around the country and our Purple Sneakers DJs were lucky enough to smuggle themselves into FLAVA FLAV's luggage and ride his coat-tails from Bendigo to Bunbury.
Playing alongside acts like MUTEMATH, WAVVES, KIMBRA and HERMITUDE, the dirty duo spun records state-to-state to adoring masses (who were actually just waiting for Muscles).
Raucous crowds greeted the pair wherever they went, but boss-man MARTIN NOVOSEL admits it was their set in Townsville that really tore the roof off.
Personal highlights included meeting Frank Turner, catching up with family and friends, discoing with Audio/Visual wizards NAYSAYER & GILSUN [pictured above], umpiring a ping-pong game between Swedish maestro ADRIAN LUX and local metal-militia PARKWAY DRIVE. Lowlights were Canberra (not the festival, the city) and Randall’s breath.
Also, (as the photos show) MARTIN didn’t wear the same flat cap twice. We're proud you buddy!
