LISTEN: Tourist ‘Placid Acid’

TOURIST is a new project from Brighton-based producer William Phillips, formally known as Little Loud. Former remixes include Yeasayer and Memory Tapes.

TOURIST, a newly reformed and reincarnated artist, is now the pseudonym name of Brighton-based producer William Phillips who was also previously known as Little Loud – past projects include Ariel Pink’s Haunted Graffiti, Memory Tapes and Yeasayer just to name a few. With his 4-track debut EP set for release on March 12 via UK record label Make Mine, Tourist has recently released a teasingly solid first track electronic preview from that particular EP titled ‘Placid Acid’.

With an already impressive number of plays in its first two days of release, this track portrays the perfect pop brand with the likes of dreamy vibes, overall bright composition, driving beats and visual narrative through the means being an instrumental piece.
