Feels Profile
If you listen to triple j/follow triple j Unearthed, you're probably aware of the current remix competition they're running, throwing up the stems for Lorde's huge single Homemade Dynamite. The winners receive "two tickets to see Lorde play live, as well as a triple j prize pack and some srs bragging rights", and so far there's been some pretty cool entries (which you can find just by searching #LordeRMX hashtag on Unearthed.
Today though, we're focusing on the apple in our eye - WA electronic duo Feels - and their understated take on the track. They've taken the single and made it their own, bringing some typically intricate percussive vibes, but its all the other stuff we're really digging - the dramatic synths, little vocal stabs and subby bass all add up to something pretty special. Not bloody bad for their first remix tbh.
