In a 12 month period which saw the guys play Groovin The Moo tour, Pyramid Festival, Big Day Out, and play dates across the US and South Africa with acts like Diplo, Flume, Odd Future, 360, Star Slinger, Miike Snow and buttloads of others Purple Sneakers DJs also stepped up their production work beyond just remixes to releasing their own debut single 'Last One Standing (feat. Amy Pes)' on New York specialist dance label Plant Music.
The guys have recently done a few rad re-rubs for some of their local buddies like Olympic Ayres and The Griswolds. Their latest rub for Melbourne doodz Oh Mercy sees them getting all US-college-marching-band-meets-rave-party on the hit track 'Drums Of Love'. The rest of this year sees the guys play the 2012 Pedestrian.TV Photography Awards presented by Lipton Ice Tea tomorrow, alongside Flume and Willow Beats at Early Hours on NYE, and then Summadayze and Field Day with Disclosure, TEED, Hot Chip n co on New Years Day.
Then we believe the boys are taking some summer down time to write... Hello 2013!!!
