Nevertheless, that has not stopped Disclosure from releasing one last tune before the album drops, this time teasing us with Magnets, the long-awaited collaboration between the duo and our adopted New Zealander, Lorde. Unveiled on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 show last night, Magnets is possibly the best cut from their album thus far, with a funky, percussion-laden beat cruising behind the vocals of the young singer-songwriter, who according to Disclosure member Guy Lawrence, had a big say in the production in the track as well, saying that “She had a lot of control over the music. She emailed afterwards about changing this drum sound or seeing if this harmony could come up in the mix. That was a proper sharing of control". Magnets is a part of Disclosure's well-hyped second album Caracal, which will be available in all its glory tomorrow, however you can listen to this single below:
