Continuing her unstoppable rise today is Caroline Polachek, who alongside the epic and uplifting single Welcome To My Island today announces her new album, Desire I Want To Turn Into You, scheduled for a Valentine’s Day release next year, February 14 2023.
Featuring the album’s titular phrase during the chorus, Welcome To My Island packs an 80s-influenced driving beat with big keys, shimmering synths and all manner of vocal effect trickery, with irresistible “chant-a-longs” throughout.
Welcome To My Island caps off a huge year for Caroline, having supported Dua Lipa on her North American tour, played all the big festivals like Coachella, Lollapalooza, Glastonbury and Primavera, and dropped a string of collaborative singles with the likes of Oneohtrix Point Never, Charli XCX, Christine & The Queens and Flume.
