When did you start making music and why? I didn’t get into an acting course when I was fresh out of high school. In Brisbane there was a SICK house show scene. You could start a band that day, smash noise that night.

What other events/gigs are you looking forward to at Leaps & Bounds? Rice Is Nice show at Shadow Electric!! Clowns & Mangelwurzel during the day at Fitzroy Bowls!! Sunday 19 at The Copacabana (NEW WAR, rad line-up rad DJs).
What do you think is the best thing about a festival like Leaps & Bounds? It gives this nice big blanket under which promoters can put on trippy special events. Getting older bands back together, doing tribute shows to people who really deserve it under one larger broad banner is really nice I feel.
What are your favourite places to hang out in the City of Yarra and why? I am loving the big PA in the Evelyn bandroom lately. Always loved Bar Open for its darkness. Also I have heard really good things about Shadow Electric but haven’t checked it yet: “TO DO”.
Why should people come and see your band at Leaps & Bounds? Weirdo curated line-ups. My own sets will have different costumes and televisual elements — short film screenings as well as bands.
When and where for your Leaps & Bounds gig? Monday nights in July at Evelyn Hotel.
