Sydney based American country-folk singer/songwriter Jenny Queen has released the video for Let Her Go, a highlight from this year's Small Town Misfits record.
Featuring vocals from roots favourite Shane Nicholson, Queen says, "This song grew from my thinking about the moment when you wake up, after a heartbreak, and you’re hung-over and confused, and suddenly you remember you’re on your own, and you're poleaxed all over again. It spun out from there to address the extra stab of playing out a very private moment on a public stage.
"Shane Nicholson’s backing vocals were sort of ninja-ed in. We recorded it late one night and I went home to get some sleep. The next morning when I came in to the studio, he played me his haunting vocal. Beautiful ninja vocals."
