We caught up WAM nominated singer-songwriter Jacob Diamond​ in the lead up to next week's festival where he'll play at the awards ceremony.

He's up for Most Popular New Act, Best Male Vocalist and Best Folk Act, and treated us to a stripped-back version of his tune Blue Begets Blue.

The WA Music Awards party will be held at Jack Rabbit Slim’s on Thursday 5 November, with tickets only available to nominees, select media, and WA Music Conference speakers and ticket holders.
