Strap on your American Apparel bibs and commence drooling, ye indies that be! Inertia Records will be treating a select few of you music connoisseurs to the ride of your life to celebrate Record Store Day. The prize, for fifteen lucky people, involves: travelling from store to store in Inertia's special bus with free exclusives; previewing albums ahead of release; and drinks and pizza to round off the day.
For all you young'uns scratching your heads wondering, "What the hell is a record?", Record Store Day is a day in which independent music outlets and the music they release are celebrated. With genuinely helpful staff ready to order records on demand for your greedy little indie ears, this is a day of recognition that they deserve, to be celebrated on the third Saturday of every April.
