How did you find out you were nominated for a Carlton Dry Independent Music Award? I was notified of the nomination for the award by my wonderful record company ABC Classics.

What was the last thing you won? The last thing that I won was a Classic Brit Award for my album Dusk And Dawn.

What's been a highlight of your year artistically? The Australian premiere of Island Songs which Peter Sculthorpe wrote for me. It was a tragedy that Peter was not there to hear it, but we definitely felt his presence.
