Hazel English is a transcontinental wonder and her music is clear evidence of that. Between calling both Melbourne and San Francisco home, this star's deliciously dreamy pop music makes her standout no matter what side of the Pacific she's on.
The melting combination of her fearless songwriting, entrancing vocals and colourful hazy melodies has made her one to watch and, with her forthcoming double EP, Just Give In/Never Going Home being released May 5, she's set to stun a whole lot more. Her latest offering from that record, 'Fix', is a perfect example of all of those elements as it offers us a gorgeous pop song that is laced in a summery haze.
Of course, calling two places home comes with the benefit of knowing each place's intricacies and best kept secrets and Hazel English has treated us to her must-go places to eat in the Bay Area.

Gracias Madre
Prepare yourself for the best vegan Mexican food of your life. The plantain empanadas are a must try and the sweet potato tacos are delicious. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu!
Beauty’s Bagel
By far the best bagels in the Bay. This place is always packed because they make damn good bagels and also delicious omelettes.
Homeroom
Homeroom is serious about their Mac & Cheese and it is really really good. There’s an option for everyone including a vegan version.
Commonwealth
This place is my local; it’s a British style pub with hearty meals and a great selection of beer & cider.
Souley Vegan
Exactly what it sounds like. Vegan soul food. There’s so much flavour and I swear the tofu burger tastes exactly like catfish.
