Following the evolution of G ELENIL over the last few years has been quite astounding. She's continually shifted, changed and all whilst doing so in order to grow. She's never been one to slow and she's about to ramp it all up.
Her sound and style may have changed since the inception of the project, but that's where the beauty lies. The entire project is so genuine because of this, and it's definitely one of the reasons why we keep coming back to her sound.
Her debut EP Kin is set to be released this Friday, sporting some incredibly fluorescent album artwork and a well-crafted array of sounds and themes.

Ahead of the EP's release, we asked her to give us some insight into what she spends her time doing around her hometown of Brisbane.
Teneriffe Park
A small forest in the middle of the city, this park is my go-to for any workout or picnic because it’s pretty hidden. Basically my equivalent to Ivy Park... so if you go there just be prepared to meet a sweaty G.

Wynnum Central
Umm I’m a city kid so I wasn’t aware of this place until recently, but honestly the best op shops in Brisbane. Mummy needs those bargains.

Mt Cootha at Night
You don’t have to go to the lookout to woo ya boo. My number 1 date spot is right in the middle of one of the tracks. Get some takeaway and go there… Just make sure you take all your rubbish with you!
