Have You Heard: Tubular Bells For Two

Answered by: Daniel Holdsworth

When did you start making music and why? A few years back over a bottle of wine, we gave ourselves a challenge: let's play Mike Oldfield's Tubular Bells on stage with just the two of us and loads of instruments.

Sum up your musical sound in four words? Tubular Bells, two blokes.

If you could only listen to one album forevermore, what would it be and why? Tubular Bells is an iconic record. It has so many different styles, genres, moods - it has something for everyone. An incredible piece of music and, when played by just two guys, it's edge-of-your-seat stuff.

Greatest rock'n'roll moment of your career to date? A sold-out Union Chapel in London, on the 40th anniversary of the record release, was just spectacular.

Why should people come and see your band? It is one of the most tense, tight-rope theatrical musical events. A multi-award winning production and a great night out. It doesn't matter if you've never heard the original record, people of all ages love seeing this incredible theatrical event.

When and where for your next gig? 12 &13 May, Brisbane Powerhouse.
