"We put on an electrifying oddball set that really has something for everyone, without compromise. It's just great fun."

When did you start making music and why? Age 12 my dad bought me a remarkably difficult to play steel string acoustic; despite the pain, I was hooked. I wanted to be Angus Young, now I just sing — guitar is too hard.

Sum up your musical sound in four words? Trying our very best.

If you could support any band in the world — past or present — who would it be? Queen for certain, just so I could see them live.

If you could only listen to one album forevermore, what would it be and why? The rest of the band may disagree, but Super Trouper by ABBA, because it makes you smile and elicits the best kind of goosebumps.

Greatest rock'n'roll moment of your career to date? Last winter we covertly set up our gear in a field and built a gasoline soaked pyre. To light the sucker I snuck off while the band played and fired a secret flaming arrow at the thing; explosive.

Why should people come and see your band? We put on an electrifying oddball set that really has something for everyone, without compromise. It's just great fun.

When and where for your next gig? Tokyo Singsong aka downstairs at Marlborough Hotel, 25 Nov. It's for Movember. Have it!
