When did you start making music and why? I was born into a musical household. My mother was a classical guitarist (Sadie Bishop). Music was in the house. I picked up a guitar very early in life.

If you could only listen to one album forevermore, what would it be and why? Montgomeryland, featuring Wes, Buddy and Monk Montgomery. Swinging jazz at its finest.

Greatest rock'n'roll moment of your career to date? Circa 1982, having Bo Diddley sit in with my band. What a cat.
Why should people come and see your band? The music is infectiously good. So many talented people in our band who all get a go.
