"I started doing acoustic covers of punk songs for fun, and it kinda grew from there."
When did you start making music and why? I started doing acoustic covers of punk songs for fun, and it kinda grew from there. I started writing my own songs and played them instead of Misfits covers.
Sum up your musical sound in four words? Acoustic folk punk Australian.
If you could support any band in the world — past or present — who would it be? The Weakerthans (RIP). John Samson is one of the all time great songwriters.
If you could only listen to one album forevermore, what would it be and why? In The Aeroplane Over The Sea by Neutral Milk Hotel. It still hits me like I am hearing it for the first time.

Greatest rock'n'roll moment of your career to date? In 2013 I released by debut EP. I held a launch show and during the final song I was crowdsurfing while everyone sang along. So much fun.
Why should people come and see your band? It's always a really fun time. It's relaxed and intimate and good for a singalong.
When and where for your next gig? Blood, Sweat & Beers #8 at Factory Theatre on 25 Jul with Clowns, Grenadiers, Luca Brasi and more.
