How did you get together? Both of us had dropped out of school to study music, so the day we met we wrote our first song... After bonding over the fact that our nose rings were on the same side.

Sum up your musical sound in four words? Heartfelt, haunting, intricate, evocative.

If you could support any band in the world who would it be? James Vincent McMorrow. So we can make musical babies together.

You’re being sent into space, no iPod, you can bring one album – what would it be? Begin To Hope by Regina Spektor.

Greatest rock’n’roll moment of your career to date? Supporting Some Can’t last year... The upright piano they had on stage was falling apart so we helped annihilate it with a sledgehammer outside the venue... Made friends with police officers afterwards.

Why should people come and see your band? Because we’ll make your heart smile. And Georgia sometimes tells wildly inappropriate jokes on stage.

When and where for your next gig? 31 Aug, L1 Studios (1/377 Lt Bourke St) 5pm. We’re recording a live EP... Come and be in the audience!
