When did you start making music and why? We began quite organically about a year ago. It brought together a bunch of friends interested in exploring folk music from Eastern Europe and around the world. We love merging traditional and modern aesthetics!
Sum up your musical sound in four words? Playful. Dancy. Quirky. Dynamic.
If you could only listen to one album forevermore, what would it be and why? Besh O Drom's Gyi! is an album that we all connect to in different ways. It incorporates playful virtuosity with ethnic flavours that form groovy, catchy tunes; it's irresistible to sing and dance along to.
Greatest rock'n'roll moment of your career to date? Our shows at the Byron Bay Falls Festival earlier this year went off! Seeing hundreds of happy faces all dancing and letting loose is an unforgettable experience. To facilitate that kind of energy makes it all worthwhile!
Why should people come and see your band? It's a feel-good experience for everyone involved. We bridge cultures and generations with the music we create. Come party!
