Have You Heard: Elli Schoen

When did you start making music and why? It was pretty early high school days. I used to write songs at school instead of doing work. I get bored super easily, and music was the one thing that could hold my focus. 
Sum up your musical sound in four words? Raw, seductive, honest, powerful.
If you could only listen to one album forevermore, what would it be and why? Vacation by Big Scary. Every time I hear it, it feels like the first time, and it always inspires me to sit down and keep writing. The melodies really hit home for me.
Greatest rock'n'roll moment of your career to date? Touring with the great Perth rock goddess herself, Miss Abbe May. We played five or six shows with her, and she was such a cool person to be around. A few tequilas backstage with Abbe's pretty rock'n'roll, right?
Why should people come and see your band? People often feel like my songs were written for them. I like to write honest lyrics about real experiences.
