When did you start making music and why? I started when I was a wayward teenager, I was that annoying kid that had a key to the high school's music room because I never wanted to do anything else. What a tool.

Sum up your musical sound in four words? Sexy, bluesy, gritty soul.

If you could only listen to one album forevermore, what would it be and why? It ain't soul music, but it's Billy Joel's The Stranger. I can connect with every single song on that album. It gives me the feels, for sure. And man, he can write a tune. 

Greatest rock'n'roll moment of your career to date? Having to get off the stage to turn the in-house background music off, after we'd already started playing our first song of the set. Doing your own sound, there's no better way.

Why should people come and see your band? If you like old school gut-wrenching soul, big vocals and guitars, you'll love us. And there's horns. Everyone loves a horn. 

When and where are your next gigs? 12 Feb, The Brunswick Hotel.
