When did you start making music and why? When I was in Year Nine I wanted to learn drums but wasn't allowed so I bought a blue guitar off eBay and learnt all of Blink-182's catalogue instead.

Sum up your musical sound in four words? SPAGHETTI DISCO BOOGIE POP.

If you could support any band in the world — past or present — who would it be? Let's run with Future Islands. I hear they are coming to Australia…

If you could only listen to one album forevermore, what would it be and why? Fleetwood Mac — Dreams. It has the best angry pop songs 'round and get me cry-dancing in my room all the time. Which is always a good combination.

Greatest rock'n'roll moment of your career to date? When I got my guitar strings caught in my hair and couldn't switch guitars for the next song as a result. I bought a comb the next day.

Why should people come and see your band? We could be soulmates and have cookies together post-show?

When and where for your next gig? Yours & Owls Festival, Stuart Park, Wollongong, 3 Oct.
