When did you start making music and why? Early high school, heavily inspired by people like Ben Folds and Tori Amos because I was a piano player (with pretty naff results). Later, kyu (my old project) began with writing for a band competition.

Sum up your musical sound in four words? whoozy, feelings, funny noises

If you could support any band in the world - past or present - who would it be? Juana Molina! And I did! Last year! She's an amazing, strong, hilarious, charismatic and increeedibly smart and talented woman. LOVE!

If you could only listen to one album forevermore, what would it be and why? I'd elect silence if I had the choice! One album forever sounds like some kind of water-torture hell...

Greatest rock'n'roll moment of your career to date? Dancing all night with my bandmate, only to realise it was well and truly morning and we had a 7am flight. Lost phone/ill-communicado. Amazingly, the rest of the band found us on-the-way, and I was upgraded to business class!

Why should people come and see your band? Because I'm lucky enough to have Jess Green (guitar/vocals/percussion) and Bonnie Stewart (drums/vocals) in my band. Both genius dynamo powerhouses!

When and where for your next gig? Sat 25 July at The Bird in Northbridge, Sun 26 Ju;y at Mojo's in Fremantle!
