What's the best thing about the venue? Live music on Sundays. The Social Club and Friday Nights. The Ten At $10 food menu. The lovely local customers who love a chat. The relaxed homely atmosphere and good beer on tap.

What's the history of the venue? The Royal Oak Hotel has been serving drinks for nearly 150 years! Originally opened by Emma Phair, who came to Melbourne from Ireland, in 1871. She was one of the Victoria's grand pioneers, quenching big thirsts and serving full meals.

What are some of the highlights? The Variety Show where locals get to perform and show case all sorts of talent in a lovely social club day.
