Why should punters visit you? Boogie Man Bar is an intimate space with cool rock decor and a friendly atmosphere. No precious people here, just a nice bunch of like-minded individuals strutting their stuff on the Boogie Man stage.
What's the history of the event? The open mic was started two years ago and has seen many individuals, duos, trios and groups perform every Wednesday.
Any advice for first timers who want to visit the event? Just book a spot and get down here, you're among friends! Everyone is encouraging and supportive except the Boogie Man!
Who's performing this time around? Everyone is welcome: singers, poets, dancers, comics. You get 15 minutes in a professional environment, rather than staying home and playing with yourself in the bedroom!
Do you have any plans for the event in the future? It just continues to provide people with a bit of talent to hone their chops and perform. We support live music and that's what we are here for.
