Why should punters visit you? Where else are you going to see Jae Laffer, Darren Hanlon, Ruby Boots, Mei Saraswati and Gunns in a pin-drop silent, century-old town hall? It's a one-off specifically designed to honour the songs.

What's the history of the event? Hush was started by myself and Stacy Gougoulis after seeing too many great acts drowned out by chatter in pubs.

Any advice for first timers who want to visit the event? Get in really quick! We've done four Hush shows now and every one has sold out. This year's show is in the incredible Fremantle Town Hall as part of Fremantle Festival.

Do you have any plans for the event in the future? We're definitely keen to make Hush a yearly occurrence — it's just a matter of finding new and interesting venues each year. We're also starting to invite interstate acts as well as great locals.

When and where for your next event? Fremantle Town Hall (as part of Fremantle Festival), 30 Oct. Show starts 7pm.
