What's the history of the event? World Music Cafe started 30 years ago in West End as a platform to promote local multicultural artists and has grown to feature top local and international artists and highlight Brisbane's live music scene

Any advice for first timers who want to visit the event? Licensed bar, ample free parking, and tickets are a steal at $15 concession and $18 full price.

Who's performing this time around? May Lyn, Matt Hsu, Noralyn.

Do you have any plans for the event in the future? Yes, we will have our next World Music Cafe on 12 May. It will be World Music Cafe: K-POP, featuring American K-pop sensation and winner of K-Pop Star season five in 2016, Crystal Yi.
