Why should punters visit you? As Brisbane's home of multicultural arts and culture, BEMAC has renovated its renowned World Music Cafe series to include some of the freshest and emerging multicultural artists from the diverse soundscape of Brisbane.

What's the history of the event? World Music Cafe started 30 years ago in West End as a platform to promote local multicultural artists and has grown to feature top local and international artists and highlight Brisbane's live music scene

Any advice for first timers who want to visit the event? Licensed bar, ample free parking, and tickets are a steal at $15 concession and $18 full price.

Do you have any plans for the event in the future? Yes, we will have our next World Music Cafe on 12 May. It will be World Music Cafe: K-POP, featuring American K-pop sensation and winner of K-Pop Star season five in 2016, Crystal Yi.

When and where for your next event? 12 May, Queensland Multicultural Centre, 4.30pm-10pm, featuring dance competitions, live performances and more.
