Why should punters visit you? A venue dedicated in bringing live music to Sydney at least five nights a week. It's still a pub!
What's the best thing about the venue? The live musicians that play at the venue, the locals that have stories from when time started, and the burgers from Chicken & Sons. Character of the pub and character of the people.
What's the history of the venue? A colourful past, been around since the first fleet landed. The Toohey brothers created their beer while watching over a field full of wild stags. Was a pool hall but now found its new calling, a live music venue.
What is your venue doing to help the local music scene? Five nights of live music. Two different areas you can play in. Creating a culture where you can grow.
What are some of the highlights? Royal Headache as part of Reverse Charges, the Steel Assassins festivals, Ocean Alley's launch. We are still growing!
