Halloweekend

24 October 2016 | 4:34 pm | Sam Wall

According to the internet, clown swarms are abandoning their native heavily wooded areas now that their king is about to conquer the Free World. Since this might be your last Samhain we've got a few suggestions so you don't spend it standing 'round a punch bowl in a mullet wig like a big Halloweiner.

Fearaphobia

Australia's first ever 'Scream Park' is gearing up for a massive Halloween that is assumingly not pacemaker friendly. Fearaphobia hosts a number of different attractions that are designed to make you genuinely concerned for your life. The pleasantly titled Buried Alive attraction will have guests avoiding elevators and generally sticking to wide-open spaces for the foreseeable future. Fearaphobia will be running for the entire Halloween weekend at Hawkesbury Showground, Clarendon.

Until 31 Oct, Hawkesbury Showground, Clarendon

The Craft

Golden Age Cinema are resurrecting cult classic The Craft just in time for Halloween. The '90s-girls-gone-goth film continues to impact audiences old and new, plus who doesn't love watching Marcia Brady battle with witchcraft induced baldness? The Craft will be playing on 29 Oct in Surry Hills.

29 Oct, Golden Age Cinema

Sydney Zombie Walk

Hundreds of zombies are expected to take part in Sydney's annual Zombie Walk, all in the name of The Brain Foundation. Attendees can raise the blood pressure of innocent passers-by while also raising money for a great cause. Or, failing that, they can simply go for the atmosphere and then stop by a bar afterwards in full zombie attire, just to watch local patrons have a minor breakdown. The walk starts in Belmore Park on 29 Oct.

Flow After Dark Halloween

Silent Disco Yoga is quickly taking over the exercise world, therefore it seems fitting that there will be a Halloween-themed session on the 27 Oct at Hordern Pavilion. Headphones provided will allow for yoga enthusiasts to completely shut off from the real world for 90 minutes, instead focusing all of their energy on trying not to fall over in front of everyone. Just remember - at Silent Disco, no one can hear you scream.
