Jerome Davenport is an Australian aerosol artist blurring the boundaries of graffiti, muralism and geometry, combining street art and portraiture, impacting a relatable vision that the general public can enjoy. With influences drawing from culture, animals, people, geometry and more, his style is characterised by a distinctive photo-realism, with elaborate portrait pieces that are almost impossible to draw yourself away from.
Davenport runs ‘Up on Hay STudio’ - a multi-use exhibition/gallery promoting and supporting local emerging artists along with more established drop-ins. He’s also the Founder of Blank Walls, a collective he aspires to be internationally recognised at the forefront of street art, design, installations and sculpture.
In March 2016 Davenport will embark on a year-long trip. Exploring, creating and painting from Argentina to Northern Canada, but first he's hosting an exhibition on February 12 called HIGH CONTRAST (details HERE) - a collection of 30 exhibited over two days in one of Perth’s yet to be appreciated exhibition spaces, Fridays Studio on Aberdeen Street.
