"Homelessness affects over 100,000 Australians every year."

Answered by: Simon Morel

Who/what is the benefit for? Detour house, an inner-west women's refuge — they run centres in Leichhardt and Glebe.

Why do they need help? Government funding is limited. Their two refuges assist adults with alcohol and drug problems and homeless teenage girls.

What's the current situation like? Homelessness affects over 100,000 Australians every year. By supporting Detour House Inc we are helping reduce the vulnerability and insecurity experienced by the women and girls in our community.
