Foo Fighters - Something From Nothing

20 October 2014 | 3:36 pm | Staff Writer

More Foo Fighters More Foo Fighters

It might feel a little like veteran US rockers the Foo Fighters have been more than a bit everywhere of late, with them popping up in all sorts of locations from Late Night With David Letterman to channel GO!, of all places, for the recent commencement of HBO's documentary accompaniment to their forthcoming eighth LP, Sonic Highways.

Now, having just released the track this Friday past, the Dave Grohl-led powerhouses have revealed the full matching video clip for lead single Something From Nothing, which straddles the line between lyric clip and film clip, with the song's words superimposed onto shots of the Foos doin' their thing in a suitably grimy-looking exposed-brick building. Bonus points: the clip features Rick Neilsen, of Aussie-bound A Day On The Greeners Cheap Trick. Keep an eye out for the signature cap and chequered guitar.

Sonic Highways will be released globally on Monday, November 10.
