Will Sparks ProfileBeloved Australian DJ and producer Will Sparks is hitting the road in 2027 on his Classics tour – where he’s set to perform his biggest hometown show to date at Melbourne’s Margaret Court Arena – but that doesn’t mean that he’s not paying attention to emerging artists.
In fact, ahead of the May 2027 tour dates, Sparks – one of Australia’s most successful EDM exports – caught up with The Music to share five up-and-coming Australian producers you need to be across.
Keeping his ears firmly planted in the underground scene, here are Sparks’ picks and why he chose them.
Five up-and-coming Australian producers you need to be across, according to Will Sparks
Watto
I’ve watched Watto come up through the Melbourne scene and make the move into techno and hard groove - he’s absolutely killing it right now. His sound has so much energy and is made to go off in a club or festival. Get Some is the track I’ve been vibing lately; it seriously pumps.
Micheal Parker
Heaps of respect for Michael Parker. Everything he puts out is quality, and you can tell he’s completely locked in with the direction of his sound. He continues to level up with every release and is definitely someone making serious moves. My favourite track of his would have to be Insane.
Four To Eight
Four to Eight’s style and passion for music are second to none. He’s making plenty of noise, pushing boundaries with his sound and already putting on his own shows, which is unreal to see. He’s building something properly unique, and I’m excited to see how far he takes it. My favourite track is DEE JAY; it’s ridiculously catchy!!
Shani
Shani’s already building a strong identity around her music, bringing together a great brand, a distinctive sound and high-energy sets. She’s starting to make plenty of noise this early in her journey and is definitely one to watch. Tik Tok is a record of hers that I’m really digging, the vocal is sick and it has that classic Melbourne vibe.

David Chouman
David is such a humble guy; his music hits with serious energy. The way he uses leads and chord progressions in his productions is absolutely nuts—they give his tracks a sound of their own. My favourite record of his is Fast, Filthy & Loud; the name says it all. It’s an absolute weapon.
Will Sparks is taking over Brisbane’s The Met, Adelaide’s Hindley Street Music Hall, and Melbourne’s Margaret Court Arena in May 2027. The pioneer of Melbourne Bounce will perform an epic, three-hour set of classics in each city. Tickets to all shows are now available.
“This show is a nostalgic journey going through over a decade of music,” Sparks commented in a statement. “This is nothing but euphoria and how a show should feel. Expect an epic set for the largest Australian headline shows of my life.”
Discussing his largest headline show to date at Margaret Court Arena, he added, “Margaret Court might have a roof, but we are going to blow it off. It feels like Margaret Court Arena will be the heart of Melbourne on the night of May 29.”
