Picture a gathering of visionaries, musicians, artists and dancers, all congregated in one of the world's most idyllic locations for a weekend jam-packed with a sensory extravaganza of music and celebration. This isn't just a dream, this is a real event, and it's all going down this weekend in Bali.

Now in its fourth year, AIR FESTIVAL has become a premier event, and this year it looks set to only reaffirm that more. With an exceptionally curated line up, Air Festival will feature everything from house to soul over a three-day festival thanks to the likes of MAKAMFRED PRAMPABORIS WERNERATAMIMI LOVE and so many more.

Changing location to the stunning La Brisa on Echo Beach, the setting is now one that focusses on sustainability as well as being completely picturesque, having been built from the reclaimed wood of over 500 old fisherman boats as well as being hand decorated. Set within the surrounding area of Canggu, this is a previously hidden corner of Bali that is certain to yield more than a few adventures for punters as they experience the delicious food and cocktails now on offer as well as the stunning location that will surround them.

For those unfamiliar with Air Festival, it was founded back in 2015 by a group of friends as an intimate affair focussing on sustainability and organic growth. The team, originally comprised of Walker Barnard, Sylvie Forêt, Tiago Oudman, Kelly Ariella, Ben Pound and Alexander Bonkas, started things with a “letʼs just do this and see what happens” kind of attitude and shared roots in underground dance music, and from there, built an experience that has blossomed into what it is today. Forêt said, "We are really excited for the Bali Edition of the Air Festival. The move to Bali not only makes it more accessible, but the new location is a pretty gorgeous setting. It’s not Gili Air, but it’s got another kind of energy that’s equally powerful."

They've now set out to challenge themselves to not only become plastic free, but to also continue to hone their focus on creating a truly enlightening experience for punters with the addition of a new stage, The Awan, to offer a bit of solace and grounding from the intensity of the main stage, The Air Stage.

Ultimately, Air Festival's integrity and approach is what sets them apart as they hold in equal respect the punter, the experience and the land on which they gather, and after what I'm sure has been relentless hard work, it's all coming together to put Air Festival onto a level of its own. Don't miss out!
