Indie trio Fun. are on the verge of blowing up the music scene with their album 'Some Nights'.

The first time I saw a video of these guys I was like, ‘Holy shit, Mark Wahlberg is a singer too? He really is a bad ass!’

Thankfully though, Wahlberg can stick to saving planes - Nate Ruess can take the mic from here. Let me introduce you to FUN. They’re about to blow up, guys, so listen in quick and start telling all your mates you heard them first.

I’ve been following fun. for a couple of years now, and have always thought that they had potential with Ruess’ vocal ability. Still, I don’t think that their latest album, Some Nights, shows us all of it. This could be a bad thing, or not…nothing worse than an album that you won’t ever be able to top - *cough* - good luck Adele!

The standout tunes on Some Nights are definitely ‘We Are Young’, ‘Some Nights’, and ‘All Alright’ which literally carry the album.

‘We Are Young’ is a classic anthem, to be sung a few times when the ugly lights are off, and you and your friends are arm in arm dancing around the backyard with goon spilt down your top…classy. This may or may not have been a personal experience.
