Position: Creative and A&R Manager, Native Tongue Music Publishing
How did you first become involved in the music business? I started putting on all-age shows while I was still at high school, then that led to being a driver and stage tech on tours, followed by tour managing.
What's your area of expertise and what experience do you have? I've tour managed, run a record label, an artist management company, and have served on music industry boards and committees, but I'm not sure I have a single area of expertise.
What topics will you be mostly talking about at Face The Music? I will be talking about publishing and music licensing along with Native Tongue's Licensing Manager, Kate Mills.
What do you hope to personally take away from Face The Music? It's always great to see a new crop of younger music industry people coming to Face The Music, and I look forward to meeting those people!
What's one question about the music industry you'd love to have the answer to? Is the next iTunes update going to be as frustrating as the last one?
