How did you first become involved in the music business? Playing piano at my first recital as an eight-year-old! After that it was all about playing in bands etc until I finished law school and commenced a career helping others achieve their goals.
What's your area of expertise and what experience do you have? Anything legal- or business-related. Music related agreements of any kind, including recording, publishing, management or band agreements. Copyright law and general industry advice.
What topics will you be mostly talking about at Face The Music? Legal panel. General legal issues concerning the music industry.
What do you hope to personally take away from Face The Music? Generally have a great time! To meet lots of likeminded people passionate about a career in the music industry.
